  001   Born into an english-chinese household, Rylan Danielle grew up adhering to the customs of two distinct ethnic backgrounds. He was raised in a conservative, egalitarian family where everyone was courteous and humbled down by centuries of good compassionate lineage.  002   As a kid, Dani was timid and reticent. He was reserved and would only speak to family members or close friends. Even though some of them are decades older than him, young Dani prefers to be with people he knows rather than meeting new people, hence his affection for older people.  003   Except for his favourite person, Rylan ignored all initial attempts at friendship made by anyone during the first few years of his adolescence. He was extremely aloof, direct, unyielding, irritable, and picky. He was also incredibly icy, bordering on sadistic, though as time went on, his softer side came through.  004   His mother was a horticulturist who specialised in roses. She was killed in a vehicle crash a few years back, which contributed to Rylan's anti-social personality. The bottle of rose water that he keeps in a small jar is a memento of his mother.  005   He was in the Philippines because his first love who spent time with him in China and made a promise that if they could travel back to China by the time Rylan turned 16 years old, she would ask for his hand in marriage. He took it upon himself to locate the woman in the Philippines after she sadly failed to meet up with him when he turned 16.  006   Rylan still desires to see his first love in order to express his gratitude for all she did for him. Without her assistance, Rylan Danielle Liu Gualtieri today would not exist, and he will be eternally grateful to her.  007   He has a male iguana as a pet. “Tiktik” was the iguana’s name because he discovered him one evening, perched atop a tree close to his apartment’s windows. Tiktik wasn’t present when he moved into his new residence because his father doesn’t trust him to look after living things. Right now, Tiktik and his other reptiles are living with his father in Tagaytay.Other pets include:

He doesn't have any talent for flower arrangements, but he talks well and has great marketing abilities. He is also a writer who goes by the pen name “Pennrose”  009   He was athletic and was once a part of his high school’s soccer team, but when he moved to the Philippines, he decided to focus on learning the country’s culture and language, resulting in him taking more academic studies than sports-related matters.  010   His favourite pastime would be watching movies or television shows. He does not have a favourite genre in particular and simply watches anything that catches his attention. He plays a lot of instruments, too, and has good taste in music. He can sing and dance to anything and is a part of a private organisation that caters to those who want to learn basic musical skills and choreographies. He is also a freelance photographer.

Their relationship grew stronger over time, having begun with the coincidental meeting of their lives due to their parents' connections and developing into a close friendship based on understanding and shared experiences. They met in China during the early years and would often write each other a letter when the lad went back to his hometown in England. She was also the one who introduced the lad to Cindy, not knowing that the two would develop a relationship together.Cindy Beatrice Yap - The woman behind all his reasons. She was once the dawn of his heart, the captivating muse that infused each day with purpose and cast a glimmer of optimism upon his future.
